Beauty of Hand Painting Ukiyo-e exhibition

Beauty of Hand Painting Ukiyo-e exhibition is held at the Kamakura Kokuhoukan (National Treasure) Museum in the precinct in Tsurugaoka Hachimangu.
On February 11, I have gone out.
Ukiyo-e is a genre of woodblock prints and paintings that flourished in Japan from the 17th through 19th centuries.
An ukiyo-e print has many woodcuts of the multicolored printing, but this displays are original hand paintings before woodcuts come to be mass-produced.
The ukiyo-e by the handpainting had few opportunities to look in Japan, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ukiyo-e of a delicate manner of handling brush.
I rarely bought the Pictures from an Exhibition postcard, but bought ten pieces of pictures to like in particular this time.
February 11 was a national holiday, so many people visited Tsurugaoka Hachimangu. A Plum was in full bloom near the Peony Garden.
